It doesn’t matter if the controversy is large or small, or even true and a real controversy. Remember, the issue is never the issue, the issue is the Revolution. For the Marxist – the Communist – every field of human endeavor is a battleground and an opportunity to advance the Revolution.

Woke Has Gone Broke at the Confirmation Hearings
Scott McKay, The American Spectator
The Republican purveyors of the Old Game at first slowly, and now with breakneck speed, are retreating from its use. The Democrats don’t have much else in their arsenal. And so these hearings will be disastrous for them. What they’ll signify is that everything changed on Nov. 5 of last year. Those changes were overdue, but they’re here. And when real reform hits Washington as a result of Trump’s cabinet being seated and getting to work, the old matrix of sex scandals, petty innuendo, and cancellations simply won’t save the Swamp.

Joe Biden’s Bizarro World of Foreign Policy “Achievements”
Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
Biden apparently felt he had to lie or mislead about almost every one of his “achievements.” China was never more bellicose than during Biden’s presidency. Biden’s open border saw more than 10 million illegal entries, among them thousands of Chinese nationals. Meanwhile, Chinese investors were freed to systematically buy up thousands of acres of America’s farmland adjacent to sensitive US military bases. Add it all up, and Biden would have done better to have just kept quiet and departed his failed presidency in shame.

Pardon Every Single J6 Political Prisoner – Every Single One
Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
The dual-track justice system of the last four years is intolerable, and what is intolerable must not be tolerated. To do anything but pardon every single one of the J6 defendants is to tolerate this disgusting and disgraceful campaign of persecution. The entire leftist jihad against J6 protesters is tainted and has been illegitimate from the start and throughout. To allow this charade to continue is an injustice to the President's supporters who have been persecuted, and it is an insult to the United States of America and our Constitution.

DeSantis appoints Ashley Moody to replace Rubio in Senate
Jack Birle, Washington Examiner
Gov. Ron DeSantis picked Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody to replace Sen. Marco Rubio. Rubio will resign his seat upon his confirmation as secretary of state, which appears almost certain to occur. DeSantis announced the appointment of Moody to fill the looming vacancy at a news conference. She was first elected attorney general of the Sunshine State in 2018, succeeding Trump’s pick for attorney general, Pam Bondi. Moody handily won reelection in 2022, and has been an ally to both DeSantis and Trump as her state's top prosecutor.

Virginia U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith Predicts House Plan for ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ Will Eventually Lead to Two Packages of Legislation
Tom Pappert, The Star News Network
Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-VA-09) was skeptical the House would successfully pass “one big, beautiful bill” containing several policies championed by Donald Trump, as Speaker Mike Johnson has suggested lawmakers will pass before April. Griffith made the remarks during an appearance on “The John Fredericks Show,” telling host John Fredericks, who publishes The Virginia Star, that Congress would run out of time to build consensus, and that House Republicans would settle for passing two bills to accomplish Trump’s agenda.

Ivanka Trump Reveals Main Reason for Not Returning to Politics
Jack Phillips, The Epoch Times
Ivanka Trump has reaffirmed in an interview she will not be returning to politics as her father, President-elect Donald Trump, is slated to take office. The president-elect’s eldest daughter, who was one of his top advisers in his first term in office, told a podcast on Tuesday that she will stay away from Washington in his second term. “I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable,” Ivanka Trump told the “Him & Her Show“ podcast, adding that it is a ”very dark“ and ”negative business.”

Senate Democrats Fail To Rattle Hegseth
Philip Wegmann, Real Clear Politics
Republicans loved that they were hearing from a nominee who said many of the same things Donald Trump said to get elected. Begrudgingly impressed, Democrats were, all the same, appalled. Pete Hegseth does not need their votes. When allegations of professional and sexual misconduct surfaced, which he denies, the nominee focused instead on maintaining support among the GOP majority. Democrats on the committee complained repeatedly that Hegseth didn’t even bother to meet with them privately prior to the hearing.
