It doesn’t matter if the controversy is large or small, or even true and a real controversy. Remember, the issue is never the issue, the issue is the Revolution. For the Marxist – the Communist – every field of human endeavor is a battleground and an opportunity to advance the Revolution.

Donald Trump and the So-Called Independent Regulatory Agencies
Daniel Oliver, American Greatness
It is highly likely that the current Court will find that Humphrey’s Executor was wrongly decided and that the president does have the power to fire commissioners serving at those agencies. It will be exceptionally ironic if Donald Trump is able to accomplish what President Roosevelt—the invincible FDR—was not able to accomplish: the successful firing of a commissioner of a so-called “independent regulatory agency.” Skill or luck, Trump’s likely disposal of Humphrey’s Executor v. United States is another service to the country.
Why Trump is so threatening to the permanent bureaucracy
Byron York, Washington Examiner
It is much-needed work. But it’s no mystery why it has set off howls of anger from the bureaucracy. The president and DOGE should be careful and systematic. But they need to be tough and persistent, too. The permanent bureaucracy has made itself hard to penetrate and change because it really, really doesn’t want to be penetrated and changed. Now, the president and DOGE have an opportunity to actually succeed where others failed. They need to be smart. They need to be sensible. But most of all, they need to keep going.
The Real Scandal Behind the Latest DOJ Defection
Julie Kelly, Substack
Recent antics by DOJ employees indicate one “value” is the ability to defy superiors with a change of the political winds. In Cheung’s case, she challenged the veracity of evidence presented as the basis for a potential investigation into a Biden-era “climate” initiative with all the markings of a political slush fund ripe for fraud and corruption. In noting her 24-year career at the DOJ Cheung -- she once worked for Eric Holder -- like those before her, claimed the moral high ground as her excuse not to do her job.
JD Vance Is the Bull. Niall Ferguson Got the Horns.
Scott McKay, The American Spectator
The answer to Trump’s attempts to make peace is, what? An endless war, Afghanistan-style, against the world’s largest nuclear stockpile? There aren’t enough Ukrainians to prosecute such a conflict. Let’s turn the page on the failed foreign policy of a bygone era and do something that serves our own interests and saves lives; namely, get the best deal available to end the war. Vance is correct on this, and he’s beginning to look more and more like the future of American leadership working as an understudy to its present titan.
Trump Endorses Rep. Byron Donalds for Florida Governor, Promising ‘Total Support’
Christina Botteri, Star News Network
President Donald Trump threw his weight behind a potential gubernatorial run by Florida U.S. Representative Byron Donalds, signaling strong support for the Republican rising star in what could shape up to be a high-profile 2026 race. In a fairly lengthy statement posted on TruthSocial, Trump praised Donalds as a “TOTAL WINNER” and offered his “Complete and Total Endorsement” should the congressman decide to vie for the governor’s mansion in Tallahassee. The congressman’s swift response underscores his alignment with Trump.

Craig Bannister, MRCTV.org
The nation’s deficit hit a non-COVID record high in Pres. Joe Biden’s last fiscal year (FY) and rose in his last full quarter, U.S. Congressional Budget Office (CBO) data show. In FY24 (Oct. 2023-Sept. 2024), the federal budget deficit increased $138 billion to $1.833 trillion (up 8%) from FY23, hitting the highest level for any non-COVID year in the nation’s history and the third-highest mark ever. In the first quarter of FY25, the deficit rose another $200 billion, compared to the same period a year earlier.
Trump backs ‘DOGE dividend,’ floats debt paydown using Musk savings
Haisten Willis, Washington Examiner
President Donald Trump threw his support behind the idea of a “DOGE dividend,” a check that could be mailed out to 80 million households next summer under X CEO Elon Musk’s cost-cutting initiative. “There’s even under consideration a new concept where we give 20% of the DOGE savings to American citizens, and 20% goes to paying down debt, because the numbers are incredible,” Trump said at a Miami conference backed by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. “So many billions of dollars [are being saved]. Billions. Hundreds of billions.”
